A is for aviation

In 2009, I started taking pictures of aeroplanes in earnest. Some people call it plane spotting, but I don't always do that. I am simply amazed by powered flight. Over the years, I've made numerous exposures of aircraft in the air and on the ground. Most of them show the machines plainly and clearly from nose to tail, like how a good spotter's photographs of aircraft should be. But there are also moments in between the arrivals and departures that I point my camera at other things and have found them equally if not more intriguing.
